I used Export -> Save for Web in Photoshop for years; it sucked and also recently stopped working well. Here's the fix.
Crops and exports your slices based upon your guide layout and does them all in one shot.
Works with any canvas size or guide spacing, and lets you combine multiple guide intervals into a single image on the fly.
Your original PSD is automatically (and temporarily!) duplicated so your original work remains untouched.
My main use case for this is long flowing Instagram carousels but I bet you can find something more important and interesting!
